KSI‘s quest to overturn his recent defeat against Tommy Fury has been met with disappointment as the Professional Boxing Association has upheld the controversial result. The YouTube sensation, who faced Tyson Fury‘s brother in a much-discussed bout last month, asserted that he had been unjustly robbed of victory.
Despite launching an appeal in response to the disputed outcome, KSI has received the verdict that the PBA stands by the original result. However, the review wasn’t directly taken up by the PBA themselves.

PBA announces the verdict against the appeal of KSI
Following the six-round clash between KSI and Tommy Fury, which generated an impressive £10 million for KSI, the post-fight scenario was initially clouded by confusion. It came to light that one of the judges, Rafael Ramos, had miscalculated the scorecard. Ramos had initially declared the fight a 57-57 draw, but upon closer inspection of the round-by-round tally, it was revealed that he had erroneously awarded only 56 points in total to KSI and 57 points to Fury.
The PBA confirms that an independent review panel, consisting of two of the country’s leading King's Counsel and a third lawyer, has determined that there are no grounds to overturn the @KSI vs. @tommytntfury fight result from October 14, 2023.

This discrepancy implied that Fury should have technically secured a unanimous decision victory. However, the British Youtuber felt he was robbed of the decision in this bout, and expressed his disagreement. Even the appeal has been dismissed, with the Professional Boxing Association (PBA) officially stating that an independent review panel, consisting of two distinguished a third lawyer and King’s Counsel, has definitively concluded that there are no legitimate reasons to overturn the result of the KSI-Fury bout held on October 14, 2023.
Although the result hasn’t been overturned, KSI’s team assures the fans that they will keep on appealing, until they get the results overturned with justice.

KSI’s team wants to appeal again
Mams Taylor, KSI’s manager and the head of Misfits Boxing, conveyed on Twitter that the appeals process regarding the result of KSI’s match against Tommy Fury is currently underway. Taylor clarified that they are advancing to the second stage of the appeal, determined to continue the fight for the rightful overturning of the bout’s decision.
In response to the Professional Boxing Association’s tweet, Taylor emphasized that it doesn’t depict the entire picture accurately. The details of how KSI’s team plans to escalate their appeal further have not been explicitly outlined. So, it’s still quite vague on how the Youtuber’s team is planning to go about this route, and they’re definitely adamant about getting served their justice.
