Earlier this month KSI and Tommy Fury fought one another at the Manchester Arena in the main event for the PRIME Card. After months of back-and-forth, both fighters stepped into the ring to prove their mettle. The professional cruiserweight crossover event was billed as “Judgement Day”. However, even though going into the fight, Tommy Fury was the clear favorite, he couldn’t live up to the expectations and received criticism for his performance. ‘TNT’ won the fight via majority decision, though it was later changed to be a victory by a unanimous decision after an error in calculation was found.

Following the fight fans started going wild on social media and a lot of them called the result a “robbery”. Moreover, JJ also shared his dissatisfaction with the results on social media. In the world of combat sports, it’s no secret that big fights can lead to even bigger paychecks. However, when the numbers start reaching astronomical figures, it’s hard for fans not to raise an eyebrow. Reacting to the revelation, even Dillon Danis couldn’t hold himself back and wrote, “Oh f**k off”.

Another fan shared his understanding that such huge pay is the reason behind Fury fighting the influencer boxers rather than a legitimate boxer. He wrote, “No wonder he doesn’t want to fight Viddal Riley.”

Meanwhile, a fan shared his dissatisfaction with the huge purse Fury made from the KSI bout. The fan wrote, “Imagine getting paid 10 million dollars to get hugged. Insane.”

Someone else chimed in and was just as shocked as everybody else. He pointed out, “Wtf, that’s people’s lifetime wages in one night.”

Overall, fans were left baffled at the amount of money Fury ended up making for the fight. Even Danis, who also featured in the co-main event, couldn’t help but share his surprise as well.
