The majority of Bilzerian’s wealth is attributed to his poker earnings. Bilzerian finished 180th in the 2009 World Series Poker Event and stated he won over $10 million in a single private poker game and over $50 million in a single year of playing high-profile poker games.
However, many professional poker players called out Bilzerian for his claims, stating that his alleged earnings were not greater than the other top players in the game. Moreover, many of his close associates have claimed that he has mediocre poker skills and that there was no way he earned his money from playing poker.
