“PR Is a Great Thing for Damage Control”: Despite Doing Charitable Work for Orphaned Kids, Tyson Fury Draws Ire From Fans

The WBC Heavyweight Champion, Tyson Fury, is currently sojourning in Thailand for his newly adapted boxing training camp. The other day, he was even spotted at a Muay Thai Tournament at the Rajadamnern stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. Well, the next day, Fury visited an orphanage, HDF Mercy Centre, in the city of Bangkok, alongside pro boxer Isaac Lowe. Tyson Fury explained it as a “humbling experience“, where Fury spent some time with these adorable children. He also gave them goodies and Fury posted a bunch of wholesome snaps in his latest Instagram Post.
Along with that, Fury also recalled the great words of wisdom of Nelson Mandela, as he wrote in the caption, “There can be no keener revelation of a society’s soul than the way in which it treats its children.” Now this situation has impacted the soon-to-be-father-of-seven on a whole different level. He stated that every child in this world “deserves love, care, and opportunities to thrive“.

Even the professional boxer Isaac Lowe made a post about this amazing experience and he even quoted through his happiness, “little things in life matter“.

Before this, Fury donated over $11,000 in Anthony Joshua bet winnings to charity.
Although some fans loved the recent gesture of the ‘Gypsy King’, there were fans who couldn’t see past his latest shenanigans in the realm of boxing, going to the extent of calling it a “PR” stunt.

One more fan made a joke that Fury may have a boxing fight with those kids to prove he’s still the champion. They wrote, “Guessing he’s gunna fight one of those kids and claim he’s the champ“. One fan referred to the name Oleksandr Usyk gave to Fury, as they made a pun, “Charitable Belly“.

Well, not all the fans criticized this good deed of Fury. Some fans really appreciated this, as one of them, Arlene, wrote, “The kids are the future and all kids should be safe , happy and cared for , you do good Tyson and it will make a difference to their little lives ♥️“. On a similar note, Abbie Louise Thalari stated, “Love your work. God is good.”
Another fan praised Fury, as they wrote, “This is the side of Tyson we want to see not all the other rubbish cursing and the erratic behaviour. God bless Tyson.”
