On November 13, on the undercard of Floyd Mayweather vs. Deji, Tommy Fury fought Rolly Lambert. Fury was initially scheduled to square off against Paul Bamba. However, since Fury could not make the weight for the fight, Bamba faced unprecedented choices at Mayweather vs. Deji. Since Fury failed at making weight for the fight, Global Titans offered Bamba the full fight purse if only he decided to not face Fury.

The Bamba vs. Fury fight did not take place on November 13th. Instead, Fury faced a new opponent, Robert Lambert, in the ring. Following the end of the event, Bamba, however, claimed that he was kicked off of the card. Recently, Global Titans took to Twitter in an attempt to shed light on the matter concerning the cancellation of Bamba vs. Fury on November 13th.

According to the statement that Global Titans released, Bamba was given two choices before the arrival of November 13th. On one hand, they offered him the complete purse from the fight if he preferred not to face Fury on November 13th. On the other hand, he had the proposal to receive $100,000 in excess if only in spite of everything he went ahead with the Fury fight.

As per the statement that Global Titans released, Bamba took the second option of receiving $100,000 in excess by facing Tommy Fury in the ring. However, Bamba, on the day of the fight, changed his mind.

Global Titans had to terminate its working relationship with Paul Bamba on November 13th
Although Bamba chose the second option, which contained a fight with Fury, on the day of the fight, he demanded $150,000 to go ahead with it. “Paul Bamba accepted the $100,00 USD offer to fight Tommy Fury, but then asked for $150,000 to continue the bout, “ stated Global Titans in their statement titled ‘Global titans Statement on Paul Bamba’

In addition, Global Titans informed that they had asked Bamba to instruct his lawyer and resolve the matter concerning the fight. However, Bamba failed. Despite not going by the terms to which he earlier agreed, Bamba “demanded over $230,000, ” Global Titans revealed.
