Bridges, who claimed her world title in Leeds last year, needed a late stoppage to turn the tide, but Yoshida thwarted any such hopes. The judges’ unanimous decision reflected Yoshida’s commanding performance. She dominated the scorecards with 99-91 (twice) and 97-93. But as it turns out, Bridges is coping well with the loss and might come back stronger in the new year. On such an occasion, Bridges posed an interesting question for her fans.
