Oscar De La Hoya sharing a photo with Rolando Romero has infuriated Ryan Garcia. Garcia, who recently broke his silence on being “betrayed” by someone in camp, has now accused De La Hoya of being “fake” and not genuinely caring about his fighters. The 24-year-old has questioned De La Hoya acting “buddy-buddy” with a boxer he would fight next. In addition, he declared De La Hoya’s true motivation was cash.

In his defense, De La Hoya emphasized his impact on Garcia’s career. In the same context, the 50-year-old even enlightened Garcia on “promoting“. While the CEO of ‘Golden Boy Promotions’ reminded Garcia that it was his job to fight, the 24-year-old questioned the promoter for obstinately pursuing the Manny Pacquiao fight without ‘KingRy’s’ consent.

After Ryan Garcia publicly declared he would fight ‘Rolly,’ Garcia’s promoter Oscar De La Hoya shared a photo with Romero. This act led Garcia to accuse De La Hoya of not caring about his fighters. “You know I’m about to fight this guy And you go act buddy buddy with him… You don’t care about your fighters. Really tired of this fake act!!” wrote the 24-year-old. Additionally, Garcia urged De La Hoya to be genuine for once while stating the CEO of ‘Golden Boy Promotions’ was “in it for the cash“.

Garcia’s statements drew a reply from De La Hoya who looked forward to lecturing Garcia on the ropes of promoting. “It’s called promoting,” replied De La Hoya on Twitter. Unsurprisingly, De La Hoya, who recently called Ryan Garcia a “ticket seller” in the sport, also emphasized the impact of his presence on Garcia’s professional career. “Who do you think sparked the fight week press conference when it was like being at a funeral?” asked De La Hoya. He concluded by reminding Garcia that while it is De La Hoya’s job to promote, Garcia’s job is to fight.

Recently, De La Hoya told the media that he wanted to pursue a bout between Garcia, 24, and returned boxing legend, former eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao, 44. Gradually, De La Hoya’s discussed tweet invited Garcia to question the 50-year-old obstinately promoting “the fake Pac fight,” even when ‘KingRy’ made it clear he was “not accepting” it. Likewise, Garcia concluded, “You really think ima fall for that bull twice?
