On the other hand, head coach Kevin McGuff who had spent five seasons with coach Mitchell, recounted that the latter was “extremely dedicated to his family, friends and players“. Additionally, McGuff extended his support to Mitchell’s family. In this connection, Adrien Broner echoed McGuff and Ohio State.

Taking to one of his Instagram stories, Broner wrote, “Sorry for your loss lil sis @kelz_hoop [Kelly Mitchell].” Likewise, several people took to X and prayed for Coach Mitchell and Kelsey. Taking to X, one said, “Thoughts and prayers for the Mitchell family.”
