He may not have zeroed in on his next opponent so far. But Ryan Garcia knows for sure where to put his money. The 25-year-old young boxer from California is keenly looking forward to the upcoming Super Bowl LVIII. He seems to have a clear vision of who will claim victory. So much so, to underscore his confidence, he even publicly declared the specific amount he was willing to wager.

Garcia fought and outclassed Oscar Duarte in December last year. Thereafter, began a merry-go-round, which saw him move from one potential opponent to another. It has kept the entire boxing community on the fence ever since. The enigma has now managed to drag its feet to the Super Bowl weekend. There are two days more to go, and the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers will meet again at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Sunday, February 11. As much as the Chiefs, last year’s winners, would want to win their fourth Super Bowl, the 49ers wouldn’t want to miss their chance. In the battle between two giants, the Californian knows where his heart tilts.

$100,000 on Kansas City Chiefs to take away the Super Bowl for the second consecutive time. That’s what Ryan Garcia told fans and followers during the wee hours of the day. “I’m betting 100k on the chiefs to win,” he said. However, he added, whatever the amount her wins, it will be contributed for a charitable cause. However, to effect that he sought suggestions from the crowd: “With all of the winning’s I will donate to charity. Also comment what charity’s are some I should Consider.”

A few minutes later, when one of the user suggested that he should donate $100,000 for a worthy cause, Garcia responded by confirming on the same: “Okay lock that in.” Unsurprisingly, the young boxer also received a range of personal requests to think over.

Perhaps ‘KingRy’ was still not done. He quickly announced that irrespective of the outcome – his favorites Kansas City Chiefs win or lose, his donation would continue. “I’ve decided I’m not going to let the outcome of the game determine my donation,” he said. Once again he requested everyone to put in their two cents on the foundation he could consider for donating the $100,000: “Please comment what charity’s I should consider. 100k committed.”

The big event aside, Ryan Garcia is known as a man with a big heart. The deeply religious boxer has supported various causes over the years. It has endeared him to scores of boxers and won over the respect of many others. Apart from an interim title, ‘KingRy’ has yet to win a world title in his career. Die-hards badly hope with all the good the work he has done, the dividends of his labor should propel him to the coveted echelons of the boxing world.
