Last week, Ryan Garcia shared an update on commencing his training camp for the big fight on April 20. The young boxer will meet old-time rival Devin Haney for the latter’s WBC light welterweight title. However, the loving family man that he is, it seems, managed some time to be with his loved ones, especially his son Henry Leo.

A few hours ago, Ryan Garcia shared a few snapshots and a clip of his son through his Instagram account. The joy of welcoming his third child into the world was juxtaposed with the somber news of his separation from his wife, Andrea Celina. The whole development took die-hard fans and the boxing community at large by surprise. It happened in the backdrop of the initial attempt to finalize the negotiations with Devin Haney’s team for a fight. Per the latest available news on the mega clash, the venue has been shifted from Las Vegas to New York. The duo will meet at the famed Barclays Center on the scheduled date.

Soon after Henry Leo Garcia was born, through his Instagram account, Ryan Garcia announced that he and Andrea Celina were going their separate ways. However, he also emphasized that the welfare of their children remained their foremost concern. “As I enter a new chapter in my life, it is with great regret that I share that Drea and I have decided to divorce. While this decision marks the end of our marriage, it is important to emphasize that our relationship as parents remains our top priority,” said ‘KingRy’.

Andrea Celina and Ryan Garcia started dating back in 2019. Two years later, in January 2021, they got married. The couple was already blessed with a daughter, Bella, who was born in December 2020. Ryan Garcia is also the father of one more child, Rylie Garcia, who was born to his former partner Catherine Gamez in March 2019.
