Ryan Garcia is a huge fan of music and this fact is evident through his Instagram stories. Moreover, during his fight against Oscar Duarte last year, he even made his ring walk along with the legendary rapper Lupe Fiasco. This is not an isolated incident showcasing his love for music either.

Previously he even criticized Lil Nas after the artist wrote the song ‘J CHRIST’. However, it seems that the music fan Garcia ended up forgetting about one of the biggest awards in the music industry. Here’s what the Mexican boxing sensation wrote as he took to social media.

The highly anticipated Grammys are just around the corner set to take place on Sunday, February 4. As the music industry gears up for a week brimming with festivities, including parties, panels, masterclasses, and brunches, the excitement is palpable among both industry insiders and nominees. To kick off Grammy week, We Are Moving the Needle, founded by Grammy Award-winning mastering engineer Emily Lazar, hosted the first Annual Resonator Awards.

This event celebrated the contributions of women in production and engineering roles, honoring figures like Alanis Morissette, Corinne Bailey Rae, and others. As the music’s biggest week continues, Ryan Garcia took to Instagram to share a picture of himself. In the caption, he wrote, “Grammy weekend and we had not clue”. He pointed out how he failed to notice the arrival of the event. Well, Grammy this year does promise some great performances.

This year’s nominees are aligning with popular taste, showcasing R&B sensation SZA at the forefront with an impressive nine nominations. The star-studded event promises dynamic performances by the likes of Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish, Joni Mitchell, and U2. Trevor Noah, for the fourth consecutive year, will guide us through an astonishing 94 categories, encompassing genres from contemporary Christian albums to compelling audiobooks where Michelle Obama competes against Meryl Streep.
