Ryan Garcia Sends Heartfelt Message to Parents: Who Are They?

On their 25th anniversary, Ryan Garcia sent his parents a sincere and heartwarming message. Ahead of his fight with Gervonta Davis on the 22nd of April, Garcia spoke about loving his parents with all his heart. While Garcia’s mother rarely appears in public, his father trains him and accompanies him during his fights in boxing. Ahead of one of the biggest fights of his life, Garcia, taking to Instagram, in one of his Stories, declared his love for his parents and wished them on their special day.

Garcia will fight his 25th pro fight against Gervonta Davis on April 22nd. This would be undoubtedly the biggest test of his life. Ahead of the fight against Davis, in front of his fans, Garcia exhibited his love towards his parents and family.

In a sincere and sweet gesture, Garcia shared a picture of his parents in one of his Instagram Stories. He tagged both his father and mother in that particular Story. “Happy 25th anniversary to my mom and dad love you guys with all my heart ❤️to many more,” wrote Garcia. Henry Garcia and Lisa Marie Garcia are his parents. Notably, it is his father Henry Garcia who helped Ryan Garcia find his love for boxing and approach the ring. Henry Garcia strongly believes that Ryan would win against Davis.

While his father helped him propel his journey in boxing, his mother has always taken immense pride in Garcia’s achievements in contemporary boxing. His mother also shares brief clips of Garcia’s boxing through her Instagram account. Henry Garcia is the one who has trained Ryan Garcia since the latter was a child. It is through his father that Ryan Garcia found his love for boxing. Other than being a devoted father and a loving husband, Henry Garcia is also a boxing coach. He coaches both of his sons Ryan and Sean Garcia. Besides, Henry Garcia, who has 102K followers on Instagram, is an inventor. He claims to have invented the “fierce reflex bag,” a product his own sons are often seen training with.

According to Henry Garcia’s interview with YSM Sports Media, if his son fought Jose Pedraza and Mario Barrios just as ‘Tank’ Davis did he would defeat them as well. Although Henry Garcia thinks ‘Tank’ is good, he believes the latter has not “fought anyone as good as [Luke] Campbell” whom Garcia tackled inside the ring.
