Ryan Garcia wants to go Mike Tyson on Devin Haney on the 20th of April 20 at Barclays Center, Brooklyn. Well, at the press conferences, Haney emphasized that Garcia lacked the skills and IQ required to beat Haney. ‘The Dream’ even asked Garcia to retire, provided the 25-year-old is knocked out in the first round of the match. On that note, Garcia now wishes to mirror what Mike Tyson did to Evander Holyfield.

Taking to social media, Garcia referred to Mike Tyson’s fights against Holyfield and Lennox Lewis. On one hand, ‘KingRy’ promised to bite Haney. And on the other hand, the 25-year-old claimed he would hit Haney even after he was down. Here is what he said.

After the TKO loss to Evander Holyfield in 1996, in their rematch in 1997, Mike Tyson infamously bit the former’s ears and was disqualified. Later, in an interview, Tyson, however, claimed Holyfield was head-butting him in the fight. But, ‘Iron’ was fined above $3 million for the foul. Additionally, his boxing license in Nevada was temporarily revoked. At this point, shockingly, despite knowing the consequences Tyson faced, Ryan Garcia desired to bite Haney.

Out of the blue, taking to X, ‘KingRy’ wrote, “I might bite Haney ears.” And while “Mike bit one ear,” “hungry” Garcia announced, “Ima bite both.” On the other hand, ahead of the fight against Lennox Lewis in 2002, Tyson engaged in a brawl with ‘The Lion’. At the New York press conference, ‘Iron’ decided to take his swings at Lewis’ bodyguards. Soon, Mike bit Lewis’ legs! Of course, he was later fined around $360,000 for the act.

Anyway, because of the animosity between Tyson and Lewis, on the day of the fight, tight security stood between the two boxers. In this connection, Garcia wrote, “Yall thought Tyson needed Police for the Lewis fight you will need the army ima attack haney it isn’t a fight to me.” Along these lines, ‘KingRy’ promised to hit Haney even after ‘The Dream’ was down.
