According to Henry Garcia, at first, the jab was the signature punch of Ryan Garcia in boxing. However, soon the former WBC silver lightweight champion started favoring his hook. “When he turned 17-18, I was like, ‘His signature now is the left hook’,” said Henry Garcia speaking to Fight Hub TV. While speaking about Garcia’s signature punches, he stated how Garcia’s opponents overlooked his right hand while fighting. “Another thing they overlooked is his right hand. He had an injury, that’s why he couldn’t fight JoJo Diaz,” Henry Garcia added.

As per the doctor’s advice, Garcia eventually took care of his right hand and is now ready to confront Davis in the ring. At the L.A. press conference, Davis claimed that the left hook was the only effective punch Garcia possessed in boxing. Contrary to Davis’ claim, Henry Garcia emphasized the capability of his son’s right hand. “The doctor told me why don’t you just get that taken care of? You got time. He did. And now, it’s a hundred percent,” he further stated.
