Jake Paul, the Youtuber turned prizefighter is taking inspiration from a documentary that showed how the US men’s basketball team came back from their shocking 2004 Olympic performance and sought redemption by winning Gold at the 2008 Beijing Games. The journey that the entire team had undergone was phenomenal.
Ahead of the biggest fight of his career, Jake Paul is training both mentally and physically to keep himself amped up without getting nervous. In order to do so, he is watching different war movies and sports documentaries. He believes that this is a firm part and cannot be ignored.

In an interview with ‘The Jim Rome Podcast’ that came on Monday, October 10, the 5-0 boxer told that he watched ‘The Redeem Team’ and shared what he learned from it.
“You represent your country. People who have died so that we can have our freedom. And really putting that perspective bringing the competition to the surface level,” Paul continued, “Because every day in practice when things become monotonous and so sometimes you forget the reason why you are there? And it was so really good reminder for me to self. Why I’m doing this and sacrificing my entire life to the sport of boxing?”
Before coming upon this ‘The Problem child’ talked about his favorite documentary ‘The Alpinist’. A story about Marc Andre Leclerc, a crazy climber who motivates Paul to live in the present moment. According to Paul, that is a major key for an athlete.
The upcoming fight of Jake Paul: Date and venue
Paul is all set to go head-to-head against the former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva. The highly anticipated fight will take place under the lights of the Gila River Arena in Phoenix.
One of the greatest strikers in combat sports, Silva is considered a big threat to Paul’s perfect record. Though Paul has faced MMA guys before, Silva brings something completely different to the table.
