A lot seems to be happening for Chris Eubank Jr. With one anticipated fight fallen, and another on the horizon, the fighter has maintained one element constant: his workout routines. In a hot discourse-of-sorts, fans analyzed his prowess and potential future in the ring in response to his new workout video.

Last year, a crucial fight against Conor Benn fell through after the latter tested positive for a banned substance. A year later, negotiations for another confrontation between them did not come to fruition because of financial disagreements. As one among them eyes a fight to settle the scores, a video on social media suggests Eubank Jr. is ready for it after all.

In a gym that seemed a tad bit empty, the Sussex-based fighter appeared in his grey shorts, chiseled abs, and Nike boxing shoes. For his workout routine, he spared no moves in taking on the heavy bag. From one jab to an uppercut, if an opponent were receiving those shots, the fight would have Chris Eubank Jr. written all over it.

Describing the way he spent his Sunday at the gym, the 34-year-old fighter wrote on the X, formerly Twitter, post, “Quick lil workout then who knows what I’ll get up to after. How you spending your Sunday?”

The caption hints at an uncertain Sunday plan for the fighter. However, his recent opponent already is staking his plans. Lately, Liam Smith has been rallying for a trilogy fight against Eubank Jr. If the fight took its course, it would be a deciding factor, and would skew the scores 1-1, in someone’s favor.

Will it be Chris Eubank Jr. who secures the victory and claims victory for a second time against Liam Smith? Fans strongly believe so, especially after watching this workout video.

Benn and whatnot?

Last night, Mexican fighter Jaime Munguia defeated another rising English fighter, John Ryder, in a scathing 9th-round TKO. An offended English fan sought Eubank Jr.’s help in avenging the loss encountered by the British boxing community at large.

While Liam Smith has detailed his yearning to fight Eubank in another fight, the latter has not explicitly stated anything. Hence, for now, he remains out of a fight camp. Despite that, such work on the heavy bag impressed a fan.

Another fan seemed to get at the supposed weight the fighter had put on. They teased if he was moving up the weights.

The Conor Benn fight might have fallen through, but fans of the fighters still chase it. A user relayed such yearning yet again.

At the moment, Eubank Jr. holds no belts in his kitty. However, a fan suggests it’s time he fought for one. A potential direction to look at? Cuban-American fighter, Erislandy Lara’s WBA belt.
