In the third round of their fight in 2019, Otto Wallin landed a clean left hand to open up a cut on Tyson Fury’s right eye. In the following rounds, ‘The Gypsy King’ bled badly and struggled to fight with the cut. However, he somehow managed to win the contest via UD. But, later, it was revealed that Fury required 47 stitches to the cut above his right eye! In this connection, now that Fury reported he had a freak cut during a sparring session, Lennox Lewis made a startling observation.

According to Lewis, “This cut is in [the] same area as [the] one he got in [the] Wallin fight.” In his opinion, “He’s probably gonna need about 6 stitches and 3 months to heal.” Well, Lewis is not wrong. Eddie Hearn suggests a possible date for postponement and addresses conspiracy theory

According to Hearn, the cut does not look good. Therefore, he feels boxing fans may have to wait for 2-3 months to see Fury and Usyk share the ring. “Two weeks out. Probably, one of the last couple of spars for Tyson Fury. Looking at the cut, it doesn’t look like a pleasant cut. I think, April [or] May is a realistic kind of date for a postponement,” said Hearn. Along these lines, he addressed a conspiracy theory.
