Tony Jeffries reacted to an abrupt stoppage during an Amateur Boxing fight. Jeffries, being a former boxer himself, couldn’t let it slide. Tony was a boxer of great caliber, as he had a flawless record with Bronze Olympic Medal hanging on his chest and a European Gold Medal. Furthermore, he earned great accolades before hanging up the gloves. Jeffries suffered from a hand injury while he was in his prime and had to retire altogether. But he didn’t get demoralized. Instead, he opened up his boxing fitness gym, Box ‘N Burn.

And he’s been training a lot of individuals since then, and it’s currently one of the best gyms in the city of Los Angeles. So Jeffries is a reliable person who can express his opinions on such matters, and he made a bold statement that showcases the harsh reality of amateur boxing tournaments.

Recently, Boxing Kingdom shared a video clip of an amateur fight. The boxer in blue charges at his opponent in red and starts throwing heavy punches, connecting with a power hook. The referee interrupts the fight and starts the countdown. By the count of five, the boxer in red holds his hands up to show that he can continue further.

But still, the referee goes on to put a stop to the bout and declares the boxer in blue as the winner. Now this didn’t sit well with Tony Jeffries, as, according to him, this was quite unfair. And he even stated that this could potentially be the “worst stoppage in the history of boxing”. He further went on to blame the officials of the fight as he wrote, “I’m guessing these dirty, s**mbag officials getting their palms greased.” He showed remorse for the fighter who lost and thrashed the authorities for “killing the kids dream“.

Before the Creator Clash event, five days before Alex Wassabi was to confront IDubbz, he made a tweet where he showed everyone the consequences one needs to go through to become an influencer boxer. He showed his bruised hand to spread out the message that he was working hard for his upcoming bout. Well, it definitely paid off, as Wassabi secured the win against IDubbz in their fight.

Jeffries saw this post and appreciated Wassabi for the work he’s putting in. He wrote, “You’ve been putting in that work my mate 🔥 🥊“. This is a testament to Jeffries’ appreciation for anyone who is ready to get inside the ring and put his skills to the test in front of a stadium full of crowd.
