When it comes to ‘Money,’ there’s hardly anyone who can surpass ‘Money’ Mayweather. Despite staying out of active boxing for over half a decade, in terms of sheer wealth, the 50-0 legend continues to cross one milestone after another. He could easily add ‘Real Estate Mogul’ to his list of accolades. But, for Floyd Mayweather Jr., it’s not all business.

He remains a peerless figure, even when it comes to his king-style lifestyle. A passionate collector of high-end automobiles, Floyd Mayweather Jr. is equally known for his extravagant watch collection. Estimated at a staggering $100 million, the crown jewel of his collection is likely the $18 million ‘Billionaire Watch.’ Latest reports reveal the Grand Rapids-born boxing legend has added another exquisite timepiece to his roster. Last August, Mayweather Jr. returned to the ring to settle the unfinished business with John Gotti III. Ever since, rumors have been rife about his next exhibition.

Floyd Mayweather adds a new masterpiece to his wrist

The entertainment channel ‘Clockednloaded’ shared a picture of Floyd Mayweather Jr. holding the striking ‘Eye of The Tiger’ chronograph. Crafted by the prestigious Rolex, this eye-catching wristwatch reportedly boasts a price tag of $400,000. “Floyd Mayweather dropped $400k on a new Eye of the Tiger Rolex Daytona,” read the message on the post.

For context, embodying the brand’s renowned craftsmanship while showcasing a bold, tiger-inspired aesthetic, the ‘Eye of the Tiger’ Rolex Daytona watches are among the most extravagant and distinctive timepieces Rolex has ever created. In early November of last year, ‘Wrist Aficionado’ shared an in-depth story about the watch. What makes the ‘Eye of the Tiger’ editions stand out is their highly distinctive tiger-print diamond dials. Reportedly, these dials feature black lacquer stripes and diamonds, resulting in a bold and opulent appearance.

A short video surfaced on YouTube, showing Floyd Mayweather Jr. making the purchase at a luxury jeweler in New York. He asked the jeweler to explain the details of the watch. “The money man is back. I’m here in New York City with the one and only Benny the Jeweler. Benny, tell the people what you sold me today, said Mayweather Jr. The jeweler went on to describe some of the watch’s exquisite features, including the ‘Pave’ bracelet that holds the timepiece.

A legacy of luxury: Mayweather Jr. continues to build his empire

Considering the price alone and factoring in its competition from Mayweather Jr.’s other iconic timepieces – such as his Hublot King Power, Patek Philippe Nautilus, and Richard Mille – it’s possible that the ‘Daytona’ could be seen as one of the ‘lightweights’ in his collection.

Just a few months ago, Floyd Mayweather Jr. made headlines for purchasing significant stakes in the Versace Mansion, a landmark property in Miami. Built in 1930, the historic mansion was once home to legendary fashion designer Giovanni Versace. Mayweather Jr. reportedly invested around $150 million in the property, adding it to his portfolio. This followed news of his involvement in a nearly $10 billion project.

Clearly, even outside the ring, Floyd Mayweather Jr. continues to live the life he’s always dreamed of, inspiring countless others to pursue their ambitions. Work hard, and the rewards will follow.

Who, in your opinion, could fill the shoes of Floyd Mayweather Jr. in the current era of boxing?
