While Holyfield continues to fascinate the boxing fans, his son Evan Holyfield recently went through a personal turmoil.

Evan experienced some complications earlier this month and was diagnosed with a heart condition. Although his dad, Evander Holyfield was worth $1,000,000, Toi Irvin, the mother of Evan Holyfield requested those concerned about Evan’s health to make contributions to GoFundMe to support them with medical expenses post his successful surgery. In this context, as Evan spoke about making a “big step in progress,” he received massive support from the boxing world.

Taking to Instagram, Evan Holyfield informed the fans that he finally got out of bed for the first time since his surgery.  Even though “it was a challenge” Evan assured everyone that he was getting stronger and healthier each day. In this context, he sincerely thanked those who prayed for him. And while “it’s not over yet,” he was hopeful that he could get out of the ICU today. In addition, he and his mother added, “Also gofundme link is in bio if you still want to support the cause and help out with medicals and living.

Fans and well-wishers are more than elated to see Evan walking for the first time after his heart surgery. As a result, one said, “This is incredible! Continue recovering well, and I’m glad you’re in good spirits“.
