On January 7th 2023, after over seven months, Gervonta Davis will make his return to the ring. He will face the undefeated boxer and the current WBA World Super Featherweight title-holder, Hector Luis Garcia, in this upcoming fight. This fight will make an appearance on the Showtime PPV and will reportedly cost $74.99 per view.

While ‘Tank’ is 28 and has a record of 0 losses and 27 wins, Luis Garcia is 31 and has so far fought 16 professional fights in boxing. Although Luis Garcia is a title-holder with a WBA belt currently embracing him, a group of fans feel that Luis Garcia vs. Davis does not qualify for the prestige and privilege of a PPV fight.
