‘The Times’ released the list of the wealthiest people in the UK for the year 2023. Besides the uber-rich three hundred-fifty, they also had a list of young, under thirty-five money spinners. As far as the boxing fraternity goes, it may not have surprised many who found Anthony Joshua‘s name. With an approximate wealth, reportedly in the neighborhood of £150 million or $186 million, the former world champion stood thirteenth on ‘The Sunday Times Rich List – Under 35.’
The thirty-three-year-old boxer, incidentally, was the only boxer besides the Mexican ‘Canelo’ Alvarez, whose name was mentioned in Forbes’ list of the wealthiest athletes recently. According to the portal Celebritynetworth.com, Anthony Joshua’s net worth stands in the periphery of $80 million. He lost the last two consecutive fights to the Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk. However, he reportedly made around $92 million from the two matches in 2021 and 2022. He returned to the ring this year on April 1 against the American Jermaine Franklin and took home $12 million.

The megabucks boxer, Anthony Joshua
Besides the fight purse, thanks to his good looks and presentability, ‘AJ’ has quite a few lucrative endorsement deals in his kitty. When talkSPORT’s Michael Benson shared the information yesterday, many followers fired away their opinions and standpoints. A user lauded the new feather in Joshua’s cap. He seems to perceive the former champion as a person who is very smart with money.
That's a great achievement. He strikes me as the sort of guy that's intelligent enough to invest well too.

The following user reckoned that Joshua has more than that amount in his bank account. Hence, the listing can only be for this year. One needs to consider all the money he made from endorsements, and other investments, in addition to the regular fight paychecks.
Has to be this year only as he’s earned more than that in his career. Not just his fight purses think of the endorsements etc he has been involved with.

According to another user, Anthony Joshua intelligently saved his hard-earned money instead of spending it on random products sold by different retailers.
AJ must have saved all his money instead of spending it in white shops

But the following user feels that all the money Joshua made came to him effortlessly. After all, more often than not, the level of boxers he fought was sub-standard.
Easy money when you think of the easy level of fighters he's fought

One user believes that Anthony Joshua has the strong backing of multiple institutions. They have taken care of him as far as the money matters. For instance, he lost twice during the Olympics but still got rewarded with a gold medal. In addition, most of the TV shows have been promoting him for quite some time. According to the user, Joshua is the poster boy of the multicultural movement.
He’s an establishment plant. Aided and funded at every turn. Allowed to be juiced his full career. He lost twice in the Olympics and got the gold medal. Got promoted on every TV show in Britain for years. He’s a psyop for multiculturalism…
