The world of boxing has its vision set in Dublin, Ireland where Kingpyn’s much enthralling tournament is underway. The tournament spreading over three phases has seen incredible names from the influencer-turned-boxers array fight the battle. The promotion company however faces a very uncertain period ahead given it filed for bankruptcy a little while ago. However, this tournament has worked in favor of Kingpyn as it has been able to give one of the most entertaining and nail-biting fights of the year. And boxing enthusiasts are here just for that.

Previously, at the semi-finals level, two well-known boxers came into the ring against each other. It was as interesting as a matchup could get, and the internet agrees. AnEsonGib went head-to-head against Jarvis at a bustling 3Arena. The winner of the two would enter the finale against either Whindersson Nunes or King Kenny. In the end, it was the Saudi Arabian Youtuber, AnEsonGib who was the last man standing.

A video uploaded to Kingpyn’s YouTube channel features the Arabic fighter’s trainer, Leon Wills yelling back strategies that helped get the victory title. Along with Gib, the trainer has partnered with YouTube names like KSI and Deji. In the video, Wills can be seen shouting motivational tactics in order to boost Gib. He can be heard saying, “Let’s go! You know what we’re doing, have a purpose. move to the right repeat it off to the right.” Asking him to tighten his attack and defense, Leon Wills further adds, “Sword and shields, you gotta shoot lower man you need sixes and sevens. Ace! Let them know you’re gonna hate!”

In the intriguing matchup, Gib stood up to his size and experience. He defeated Jarvis with a cleaner hand. However, the clash was not one-sided. Jarvis went on to challenge his opponent with his technical prowess and give a tough win to Gib. The first two rounds saw a befitting clash of the two up-and-coming fighters as both struggled to land impactful punches on each other. However, as the third and fourth rounds progressed into the fifth, Gib stood his ground and secured his place in the finale.

A banter with KSI, Gib vowed to win against Jarvis

As AnEsonGib prepared for his big fight at the Kingpyn qualifier against Jarvis, he gave an interview wherein the fighter had quite a few things to say. Firstly, he responded to the British influencer-turned-fighter, KSI. The latter took shots at Gib as he called him a ‘four-figure fighter’.

Quite an alliteration of that nickname, but what it refers is to perhaps the idea that fighters like Gib charge a four-figure fee for fights, while KSI charges massive amounts for exhibitions. Gib retorted by saying that he in fact was the best-paid fighter in the tournament.

Coming to Jarvis, the boxer said that he holds nothing personal against Jarvis. He said he was confident to win against his opponent and will come down hard on Jarvis, demonstrating his technical acumen in the ring. He said, “I’m too technical. I’m gonna teach him a lesson. I’m gonna hit him hard.” Gib did exactly that as he beat Jarvis to keep his word.
