As the rumors about the potential fight go around it has received some backlash from the fans. A lot of fans believe that because of Crawford’s little to no experience in the middleweight category, Alvarez would be able to win the fight with relative ease. However, Terence Crawford might hold a different opinion as he appears excited about the fight in his latest post.

In a Twitter post, Crawford claimed, “Terence Crawford vs Canelo Alvarez is the biggest fight in boxing right now. Like it or not it’s just facts.” ‘Bud’ seemed confident as he made the bold statement about the fight. Transitioning to another angle, David Benavidez’s formidable skills pose a real threat, but Canelo seems to prefer the path of least resistance. Smith, resonating with many boxing enthusiasts, labels it a “travesty” that the highly-anticipated Canelo vs. Benavidez clash hasn’t materialized, criticizing Canelo’s trend of sidestepping high-risk matchups.
