“That’s the Only Thing That Keeps Me From Not Being Dead”: Mike Tyson, Who Recently Revealed His Debilitating Illness to the World, Shares Unfiltered Thoughts on His Life

Mike Tyson recently shocked his fans as he left the Miami International Airport in a wheelchair, wearing shorts and holding a towel close to his face. It left fans and Tyson’s well-wishers thoroughly worried, but Tyson later reported to be fine but suffer from painful sciatica. ‘The Baddest Man in the Planet’ repeatedly has talked about his love for family and how much to him his wife and children actually meant.
Tyson in the near past made an appearance on the TV series Hart to Heart. Host Kevin Hart, having found Tyson close to his seat, asked the former world heavyweight champion several questions that concerned his personal and professional life. In one such question, the Central Intelligence hit-maker asked Tyson about his marriage and if he ever felt lost of love for his children and wife.

While Kevin Hart and the rest of the audience watched, Tyson said the following: “I’m married for thirteen, fourteen years now. Being married prevents me from doing that. If I wasn’t married, I would be a very violent person.”
What if Mike Tyson did not get married?
Over and over again, Tyson acknowledged the impact his marriage brought upon his life. Although Tyson had to deal with his temper and anxieties, his marriage with Lakhia Spicer made him calm. According to Tyson, if he did not marry he would be a violent man. In addition, Tyson feels he would have not been in the society too. As per his statement, marriage and family keep him from being dead.
“And I wouldn’t probably be in society. That’s the only thing that keeps me from not being dead or being inside. That’s just the person I want to be for the rest of my life.”

Sciatica has certainly been bothering Tyson. He recently said, “Oh, I have sciatica every now and then, it flares up. When it flares up, I can’t even talk!”
Health apart, Tyson made his debut in Bollywood with the movie Liger and is working on projects of his own.
