Floyd Mayweather Jr. made his professional boxing debut in 1996. Since then, the boxer has come a long way and has enlisted his name with the greatest boxers of all time. The 45-year-old has had a sensational career and has never lost a fight. A young boy from Michigan, United States has emerged as the king now. Let’s take a look at a young Mayweather. 

‘Money’ is seen fighting Mexican boxer Roberto Apodaca inside the ring. It was the first professional fight of Mayweather’s career, which took place at the Texas Station Casinos in Las Vegas, Nevada, in 1996.

The celebrity regularly updates his huge following about his life on Instagram, where he has a following of 28.3 million users. Apparently, the superstar’s Instagram is full of extravagant things. But even before he amassed millions, ‘Pretty Boy’ had a liking towards wearing jewelry. Currently, the boxer is not entirely into boxing, as he announced his retirement in 2017. But he steps inside the ring for some exhibition bouts. His last bout was with his former sparring partner, Don Moore, in Dubai.

We will see the boxer in the ring for another exhibition bout soon, as he is scheduled to fight in September. Notably, Mayweather will go up against Japanese veteran fighter Mikura Asakura. How will Asakura fare against Mayweather? We’ll find out in a couple of months.
