After a strong back-and-forth with KSI’s Misfits Boxing, Adin Ross’ Brand Risk Promotions hosted their third event in March. While it could have been the streamer’s big steps in the boxing business world, who knew it would be his last? In an angry lash-out, he has now detailed why he has been banned from hosting boxing events.

On March 23rd, the influencer-boxing promotions company stacked an ambitious card to compete with KSI’s X Series 013 event in Nashville, Tennessee. The event that was streamed live on Kick featured names like Hatecaps, Jaydvn, Chibu, Xevopat, and Snagz. However, the event landed in trouble after an investigation by the Florida Boxing Commission.

On his late-night stream, the 23-year-old revealed to his viewers that he will no longer be allowed to host boxing matchups. The development comes after the Florida authorities intervened when a fighter on the event’s roaster was injured lethally, causing brain damage. He explained, “So guys, the Florida commission, the board, basically… because of our last event, one of those fat f**ks got, like, brain damage and complained. I don’t even know if they complained…The fucking commission basically got mad… We cannot do boxing no more.”

However, Ross, still headstrong, has already decided on an alternate path that he asserts is similar to boxing. He will now host Kick Boxing events. Why did he pick this avenue of combat? Here is what he had to say.

Two Choices…

Further in the conversation with his ardent viewers, the leading streamer explained that he has two choices of combat at his perusal. “So, we have two options. I’m going to let you all choose. We cannot do boxing no more. We can either do MMA – full-on MMA. Or we can do kickboxing. I think we should go with kickboxing,” highlighted Ross.

Why kickboxing over MMA? “MMA is going to be a little bit harder to train and it’s going to take more time. And, I have to literally build an octagon. So, I think we run kickboxing because it’s the same exact format we’ve been doing, except they’re just allowed to just kick,” he explained.

A controversial figure in his truest sense, Ross did not hesitate to make a bold claim. He suggested, “You know, chat, they can kick and knee. It’s literally the same thing, but they can just kick and do knee. It’s the same exact thing. Okay?””

But he also did not stray away from mentioning the possibility of an MMA event. He explained, “MMA is going to take a little bit longer. I probably have to miss a month or two. I say, we do this – I say we run kickboxing for two events, and then if we don’t f**k with it, we just go straight to MMA. Or, we can do both! I can do one kickboxing event a month and one MMA (event) a month. I don’t care!”
