Ahead of his rematch with Liam Smith, Chris Eubank Jr. declared he was “robbed” in his first match with the 34-year-old. According to Eubank Jr., if it was not for the referee, he would have continued fighting. Despite suffering two back-to-back knockdowns, Eubank Jr. announced he “enjoyed it” and desired to “get through it“. Even though Liam Smith demonstrated better accuracy and likewise landed more of his shots, Eubank Jr. is currently of the view that ‘Beefy’ did not stop him.

Five months after their first encounter, Chris Eubank Jr. and Liam Smith will reenter the ring on the 17th of June inside the same Manchester Arena. In their first match, Eubank Jr. suffered a 4th-round TKO loss to ‘Beefy’. Speaking of the same, he recently declared that he was stopped unfairly, robbed of the chance to get through the adversity laid in front of him by Smith.
