As the year concludes, Ryan Garcia appears to have turned the tide after a challenging start, finding his stride once again. The young boxer defeated Oscar Duarte early this month. Now it seems discussions for a major bout with fellow star Devin Haney are underway.

He tries to balance training sessions and festival celebrations. But ‘KingRy’ took a moment to indulge in his passions and shared a few snapshots with his followers. In the Instagram post that came up a few hours early today, he said that a person shouldn’t allow the compromises that he makes to accumulate over the years. He runs a big risk of not being left with anything if he does that. “Don’t let those compromises add up. You’ll be left with nothing,” said Garcia.

Bash on regardless, Ryan Garcia!

Soon, a barrage of comments flew in. Most sounded upbeat and encouraged the young boxer to continue with his newfound form. However, a few did take turns berating Ryan Garcia.

The following user commented on how ‘KingRy’ appeared fighting fit and fully prepared to enter a ring—anytime, anywhere. They said, “Still looking in shape, ready to step in the ring any time, any place.” This fan urged Garcia to flatten Devin Haney with his knockout punch. Then insisting that he should finally put a stop to all the hype that’s being generated around ‘The Dream,’ with many, after his recent successes, treating it as the return of the next Floyd Mayweather Jr. The fan said, “Ryan just land that nuclear bomb on Haneys Chin‼️ Stop that hype train in its tracks because they really believe that dude is the second coming of Floyd.

This follower sounded certain on Ryan Garcia winning against Haney: “HANEY FIGHT IS A DONE DEAL! LETS GO! I BELIEVE YOU’LL WIN. PROVE THE HATERS WRONG. ITS YOUR TIME!” Then, getting a bit on the technical side, the following fan urged ‘KingRy’ to maintain a distance, as he did in the last fight. Secondly, he should make more use of the jabs. Between Haney and Garcia, the fan believes that the latter is more powerful and quicker. They said, “Ryan just needs to keep fighting with a distance like the last fight and use@more his jab. He will defeat Haney. I still think Ryan is more explosive and a faster fighter.

Sharing that he is cheering for the young boxer, this user implored Ryan Garcia to give his all in the next fight. He should train hard, irrespective of the outcome—whether he wins or loses. The user said, “I’m rooting for you, heavy. Train hard, train hard man, win or lose, give out everything you got, but I’m rooting for a W!

Clearly, fans are happy with the way things have turned out for Ryan Garcia. The devastating loss to Gervonta Davis has raised quite a few questions about his boxing abilities.

However, under new trainer Derrick James, he turned the tables and approached the Duarte fight with a rather unusual fluidity. As he has been sharing over social media accounts, negotiations for a March fight are currently taking place between his and Devin Haney’s teams. He had initially sounded off a call out to Rolando Romero too. But reportedly, on account of not receiving any intimation from the latter’s end, Garcia decided to move ahead to greener pastures.
