Leon Wills, KSI‘s trainer, has not held back from putting Anthony Joshua on the highest pedestal. Anthony Joshua secured a fifth-round technical knockout against Otto Wallin, while Joseph Parker surprisingly won against Deontay Wilder with a unanimous decision in an exciting heavyweight doubleheader at the Kingdom Arena on Saturday night.

Prior to this, Joshua had already notched a unanimous decision win over Jermaine Franklin Jr. in April and followed it up with a seventh-round stoppage against Robert Helenius in August. With this latest victory, Joshua now boasts a total of 27 wins in his professional career. No one is more impressed than Wills. In fact, he wants Joshua to have all the belts in the heavyweight division.

Leon Wills believes Anthony Joshua is the icon of boxing

Joshua has made waves in the scene. The Englishman has been putting out one fighter after another. His only losses came from the likes of Oleksandr Usyk and Andy Ruiz. Following his performances, in recent matches, Wills, agreeing with Joshua that he should fight to become a three-time heavyweight champion, tweeted saying, “I want to see Anthony Joshua with all the Belts.”

Wills firmly believes that there is no other person who can better represent the sport of boxing. “There isn’t a better person to represent and push the Sport of Boxing,” said Wills, reaffirming Joshua’s place as the potential face of the heavyweight division. With Joshua’s fame and likeability, he might just be right. The boxer has represented the United Kingdom in the Olympics, is a fan favorite, and has the skills to back himself up. His stature as a boxer is barely topped by any. However, Andy Lee might have a different view.

While a bout with Deontay Wilder was anticipated, it seems unlikely now after Wilder’s defeat to Joseph Parker.
