Early this month, fans woke to the bad news of police taking former world champion Deontay Wilder into custody. They charged him with ‘possession of a concealed weapon.’ The former world champion was eventually freed after filing a bail bond of $35k. However, Wilder stayed unapologetic about the whole affair. He stated that he would rather keep himself safe than regret not doing anything about his safety later. He looked sharp and powerful while executing combinations and swift-footed as he bobbed and swayed in tandem with Scott’s hands.
