Orlando, Florida, is world-renowned for two top-tier attractions: ‘Disney World’ and the ‘Universal Resort.’ But unfortunately, the ‘Theme Park Capital of the World’ may have suffered a bout of infamy yesterday. People wearing red t-shirts and swastika flags assembled at Altamonte Springs, a suburb of Orlando, chanting race-related slogans. The act soon started receiving widespread criticism and flak. Among those who disapproved of the gathering was Michael Buffer, the iconic boxing and pro-wrestling announcer.

So, the tweet by @BGOnTheScene has already gathered over 4 million followers. It reportedly shows supporters of groups such as ‘Blood Tribe,’ ‘Goyim Defense League,’ and the ‘Order of the Black Sun’ leading their demonstration through the northern part of the city, carrying and waving flags emblazoned with swastikas, chanting, “White Power.”

Come out in the open, Michael Buffer calls out

Among those who responded, @PauletteParis1 said, “F****ng N*zis. In the f****ng streets. In f****ing Florida. F**k this.” An early morning reply from Michael Buffer read that the heat index in Florida measured around 90 degrees. Nevertheless, these cowards prefer hiding behind their hoodies, masks, and gloves. They are too embarrassed lest their true selves give away!

The ace announcer, known across the globe for his catchphrase, “Let’s get ready to rumble,” soon started receiving a stream of responses. While lauding Buffer’s public-speaking skills as top-notch, one of the followers couldn’t help but mention how his presence on Twitter, now X, significantly increased his admiration and regard for him. So, he urged the boxing announcer to stay strong. Then, he implored the latter to be ready to always fight for what’s right and moral.
It would not be the first time that 78-year-old Michael Buffer has lent his support to a social cause. A few months ago, he joined thousands of people praying for a young child suffering from pneumonia and receiving treatment in an intensive care unit.

Michael Buffer, the son of an enlisted serviceman in the United States Navy, grew up in foster care. He found his calling in announcing when he turned thirty-two. His career as a ring announcer began in 1982. Apart from boxing, he has also made announcements in professional wrestling and the National Football League. In 2019, the International Sports Hall of Fame featured him as one of the inductees.
