The fight between Errol Spence Jr. and Terence Crawford will definitely become an epitaph in the legacy of both boxers. The fight had been awaited by boxing fans for a long time now, and finally, the world can see the undisputed Welterweight title put on the stake on July 29th in Las Vegas. Spence holds three Welterweight championship titles, the IBF, WBC, and WBA. Crawford currently holds the WBO title at 147 pounds. In addition, the winner of this bout will be fighting for the claim to be the pound-for-pound king, the honor that has been conquered by Canelo Alvarez since last year.
A lot of people are giving their verdict and picks for the Spence vs. Crawford fight. Among them, the boxing legend and promoter Oscar De La Hoya has come forward with his predictions and sided with Crawford for the win. Even Mike Tyson predicted the fight between Crawford and Spence. Well, besides all of these statements, Tyson’s old rival, Evander Holyfield has given his verdict for the upcoming marquee contest, Spence vs. Crawford.

Evander Holyfield gives a perfect analysis of the upcoming Spence-Crawford
In his conversation with FightHype, Holyfield expressed his thoughts on the Spence-Crawford bout. At first, Holyfield was talking about how a fighter should never back down from a fight and should always take the fight against the top contenders in the division. This ensures that they retire peacefully, and have no remorse whatsoever.
Then, the reporter asked about his prediction of the Spence-Crawford’s outcome. To that, Holyfield replied that both boxers are the best at what they do, and that it will be a “great fight“.
Victory will be handed over to whoever is ready to get the other person first, and they’ll have to study each other’s style in order to punch one another down. Holyfield stated, “If you’re just as strong as me, and you just as fast as me, I know I just can’t run up there in any kind of way.”
Then he later said, “This could be a technical fight that both these guys can find out what they do better than the other person.” This bout has the potential to garner as much attention as the Floyd Mayweather–Manny Pacquiao bout. Well, Errol Spence Jr recently reacted to such a statement regarding his fight against Terence Crawford.

Errol Spence Jr. recently came up on the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast, where at one point, one of the hosts, Gillie Da Kid, made a claim that Spence-Crawford is such a big fight that the only other fight that could close to this much hype, is the fight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao.

To this ‘The Truth’ said, “Box office, definitely. When you talk about the talent, them two fighting and the expectations of it, I don’t think nothing comes close to this [Spence-Crawford].” Spence believes that mindset-wise, the fight completely differs from that of ‘The Fight of the Century’. So, Spence gave his ideal comparison, “Sugar Ray Leonard–Tommy Hearns – their fight was labeled as ‘the war.’ And I think that’s something like this fight should be labeled as.”
