Eddie Hearn once battled with weight issues. Today, the ace promoter has been featured on the cover page of a leading health magazine. He is in “the best shape of his life,” and fans can’t stop admiring him for that.

Men’s Health UK roped in the British promoter for their cover page. Their angle? The once overweight, under-slept, and overstressed promoter is now in great shape. How? A total fitness overhaul he says. Ever since the spread was dropped on the publication’s Instagram page, fans have been positive about the highly-critiqued promoter.

In his sitdown with Daniel Davies, 44-year-old Hearn came clean about the struggle he’s had with his health. The cover, with Hearn splashed on it, wearing a monochrome black workout outfit, and holding a barbell did the talking. The publication in its caption wrote, “Our January cover star, @EddieHearn, is the busiest man in British boxing. But until fairly recently, the sports promoter was overweight, unfit, underslept and chronically stressed. Now, at 44, our resident columnist is in the best shape of his life thanks to a fitness overhaul – and a whole lot of grit.”

In the detailed conversation, Hearn and his trainer divulged how a sustainable plan, skillful eating, and thoughtful regime pushed him into the best shape of his life. Hearn, who promotes the man of the hour in heavyweight boxing, Anthony Joshua, noted how heart issues in his family, exacerbated by the workload he has, could have been fatal for him if he had not started training. Earlier, in a conversation with same magazine, the promoter had suggested that he had lost “2 stone” weight and had found a consistent journey appealing. He now said, “I just thought to myself, one, you can’t do this for very long if you continue living the same lifestyle, and two, you might die.”
