After thwarting supposedly the toughest opponent in the welterweight division, Terence Crawford is eyeing the boxing super-fight against the Undisputed Champion in the super middleweight division, Canelo Alvarez. Crawford has stated that he wants to move up in the weight class, and is planning to face the winner of the Canelo Alvarez vs. Jermell Charlo fight. Crawford knows he needs to up the game if he wants to face Alvarez, just like he turned the 50-50 Errol Spence Jr contest into one-sided domination.

Jorge Masvidal remains brutally honest about Terence Crawford vs. Canelo Alvarez

In a recent interview with iFL TV, Jorge Masvidal was asked about his thoughts on the potential bout of ‘Bud’ against ‘Cinnamon’. Masvidal instantly replied, “That’d be history, right?

He further gave the example of the legend Roberto Durán when he moved up in weight to face another legend, Sugar Ray Leonard. Well, Masvidal went ahead to claim that this fight would be even bigger than that legendary bout.

He said, “So I mean this would be even crazier than that.” He then went on to deliver a monologue about the unseen abilities of Terence Crawford. Masvidal said, “Terence could do it all, Terence could punch, could slip, can rip to the body, clinch guys up, spin him around, keep him guessing, you know, and then he could switch it up.” He also stated that the Omaha native has grasped the “glitch to the matrix“.

Moreover, it could even be Jermell Charlo, if he ends up defeating Alvarez.
