Some memories never fade. They linger for eons. Especially for a child who lost his mother, memories are the only way to visit the hallowed pages of the past. Zion Shamaree Mayweather was yet to turn nineteen when he received the shocking news of his mother’s unfortunate demise. Over the following years, he committed to establishing an identity independent of his legendary father, Floyd Mayweather Jr.‘s legacy and accomplishments. But undeniably, as his latest Instagram story displays, he is more than happy to run down memory lane to capture priceless happy times.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. never married. But through his relationships with longtime girlfriend Josie Harris and later Melissa Brim, he became a father to four children. Koroun, Zion Shamaree, and Jirah were born to Harris. Brim, on the other hand, gave birth to Iyanna Mayweather. The undefeated former champion also adopted Devion Cromwell, Brim’s child from a previous relationship.
