Tyson Fury hasn’t announced his next opponent since he last locked horns against Derek Chisora. Fury has been finding it a bit difficult to finalize his opponent for his next bout. As his negotiations with Oleksandr Usyk fell apart, he couldn’t talk it through with Anthony Joshua. In addition, people were speculating that he would look towards Joe Joyce, as Fury had called him out in the past. But nothing is official, more so even the impending Saudi Arabia Heavyweight Mega-Event may not feature the ‘Gypsy King’, as it’s looking to get postponed to 2024.
But amid all this drama, hope seems to be shining through all the chaos as Fury may face Francis Ngannou in an exhibition fight, as reported by Ariel Helwani. However, that isn’t confirmed yet, and it’s already been weeks since Tyson Fury promised to announce his next move. But still, Fury is in camps non-stop. A few days ago, he was training in Thailand. Now, he’s in Dubai and has even laced his sparring gloves on against the Former Super Middleweight Champion, Rocky Fielding.
So, Fury and Fielding go way back when it comes to their sparring history. During his Canelo Alvarez fight, Fielding sparred with the Mancunian to prepare for the biggest fight of his career. He even stated in one of the interviews, that he’s going to emulate the WBC Heavyweight Champion. Did you know that Fury also finds it beneficial to train with ‘The Rock?’
