27 years ago, the world lost a gem of the hip-hop industry, Tupac Shakur. In the years since, nobody seemed to have any idea about what actually took place on September 7, 1996. There were street gossip, social media innuendos, and self-mythological stories, but the facts were completely unknown. However, the Nevada grand jury recently came out with a decision, charging Duane Keith ‘Keffe D’ Davis, as one of the four original suspects behind the murder of Shakur. Amid the West Coast/East Coast rivalry between the two gangs, Shakur paid the price of choosing a side with his life.

On the night of the shooting, Tupac Shakur was riding in his BMW, coming from Mike Tyson‘s prizefight in 1996 against Bruce Seldon. Tyson was devastated by the news of his friend’s demise. Three years ago, when asked about Davis’ involvement in Shakur’s murder, Tyson didn’t think Davis was lying about his side of the story. He revealed what he thought about it.

In a 2020 interview with VLADTV, Mike Tyson sat down with another legendary former welterweight boxer, Zab Judah, to talk on various topics. Tyson said, “I thought Keffe D was telling the truth, you know. I felt that he had nothing to lie about, he’s the big player, he has nothing to lie about.” In another interview on VLADTV with Keffe D, Davis detailed how Tupac was shot, on his way to his 662 club. He said, “He was coming from Flamingo, got to the light. He used to drink, smoke some weed, and he happened to be hanging out the window like he was in a parade.
