The boxing world may get to see a mega fight, the likes of which are yet to be seen. This event could easily outshine the most recent Gervonta Davis vs. Ryan Garcia bout. And we might even get to see Oleksandr Usyk facing Tyson Fury once and for all. Moreover, the fight between Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder might also take place on the same night, in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Recently, promoter Eddie Hearn has revealed that the talks are ongoing.

So we might get to see the fight take place this December. The overall purse of both fights is expected to be at least ‘$400 million’. As the news of talks for the fight came out, Tyson Fury also made some statements in classic ‘The Gypsy King’ style. Fury claimed that he believes that Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua don’t want to fight him. Fury stated that he would love to go toe-to-toe against the unified champ Usyk and former two-time champ Joshua.

TalkSPORT’s Michael Benson shared Tyson Fury’s statement on Twitter. Fury stated, “I’d love it to happen, love it to happen. I’d love to fight Oleksandr Usyk and AJ, but I just don’t think they want to fight me.” As the fans read Fury’s statements on the duo, they couldn’t help but be furious.

Fans blast Tyson Fury after his remarks on Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk come out

Tyson Fury’s recent comments on Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk’s fights have sparked a negative reaction among the boxing community. Fans have expressed their frustration with Fury’s approach, with some labeling him as “greedy” and “full of himself.” A fan on Twitter accused Fury of being fraudulent and preventing negotiations from taking place. He pointed out that Fury had set deadlines for Joshua and Usyk, but had no issues arranging fights with less formidable opponents.

Another fan, described Fury as “greedy belly,” implying that his demands were unreasonable and self-serving during his failed negotiations with Usyk.

Meanwhile, one user claimed that Joshua and Usyk were not interested in fighting Fury because of his inflated ego and overvaluation of himself. He also questioned the constant PR that Fury had been doing and wondered if he was trying to secure another fight with Derek Chisora.

One user pointed out the irony of Fury accusing others of ducking fights, given that he had previously given Joshua a 24-hour deadline to sign a contract and had asked for 70% of the Usyk fight purse.
