After a year-long hiatus, Tyson Fury will see the ring’s face. It is a different fact that he won’t find a regular challenger from the Heavyweight contingent in the opposite corner. In Francis Ngannou, he faces a foe who, until last year, used to enthrall viewers in the octagon, demolishing opponents using both his striking and grappling skills. The non-title bout has for sure infused new energy into Fury’s veins. Fans got the drift of it as they chanced on the champion boogieing down in a studio.

After declaring his retirement in August last year, Tyson Fury returned by December to fend off Derek Chisora‘s challenge. But the phase after that proved challenging. One after the other, talks of a fight would surge, only to fizzle out for one reason or another. First came the almost certain-to-happen slugfest with Oleksandr Usyk. Sometime later, contest possibilities with former champion Andy Ruiz Jr. also floundered.

The announcement of Tyson Fury taking on Francis Ngannou, who makes his pro boxing debut on October 28, would have perplexed many fans. But, as far as the champion is concerned, he seems least bothered by others’ perceptions and views. At least, that’s how it appeared as he made his entry into Heart Radio’s studio early this morning. It is a BBC radio network that specializes in contemporary adult content.

So with the global singalong of Neil Diamond‘s classic ‘Sweet Caroline’ playing in the background, Tyson Fury entered, shaking his legs and singing loudly along with others, moving towards his seat. The radio network shared the footage through Instagram early today and wrote, “Boxing champion Tyson Fury’s dance moves are simply incredible. We’re spending the morning with him on Heart Breakfast.
