On November 13th, retired boxer Floyd Mayweather will fight the fourth exhibition fight of his life. Mayweather, who recently fought Japanese fighter Mikuru Asakura from Rizin, is looking to settle scores with YouTuber Deji. On the occasion of the upcoming event on November 13th, Mayweather attended a press conference centered on Deji and him.

The two had a friendly face-off after they had discussed the fight. While still talking about the Mayweather-Deji fight, ‘Money’ was asked about Gervonta Davis. A reporter inquired ‘TBE’ about Davis’ current status with him. Doing so, the reporter referred to Davis’ past statement in which he claimed he was not signed to a single soul in his present career of pro boxing. Therefore, the question was whether ‘Tank’ was a free agent or Mayweather promotions had him still signed.

‘TBE’ refused to take the name of Davis and avoided replying to the question asked about ‘Tank’ Davis. He said he was there to promote only the Mayweather vs. Deji fight and would refrain from discussing a fighter other than Deji and him.

Mayweather said, “This is the Mayweather-Deji press conference. So, I’m here to talk about Dubai. I’m here to talk about entertaining people, [and] having fun. I’m not here to talk or talk disrespectful or bad about any fighter.”

Floyd Mayweather spoke about the ”land of the free” to Gervonta-Davis-free-agent question

Although Mayweather did not make a direct answer to the question regarding Davis, he spoke about America being “the land of the free.” So, is Gervonta Davis a free agent or still running with ‘Money’?

Mayweather adds saying, “They say America is the land of the free. So, we live, we live, [and] we keep striving each and every day. That’s what life is all about.”

Ahead of November 13th will it be clear who is Gervonta Davis with? It is not clear and can only Davis or Mayweather make it known.
