On June 26, the undefeated young gun, Gervonta Davis, will go toe to toe against Mario Barrios. The pair will lock horns for the WBA super-lightweight title and this will mark Davis’ first fight at the stacked 140-pound weight class. That said, ‘Tank’ knows the responsibility and hype this fight carries and he’s ready to give it his all in the biggest fight of his life.
Recently, ES News released a training video of Davis, wherein he’s seen pushing boundaries with his grilling and extensive training regimes. Davis wants to fetch the WBA belt at the super-lightweight picture and for that, he seems ready to vanquish any and every opponent of his way.
Until now, ‘Tank’ has transitioned from featherweight to the lightweight roster. But this time he’s all set to escalate his boxing stint by moving to the 140-pound landscape.

In his last fight, Davis faced Leo Santa Cruz. In this fight, he gave a hammering to the former, defeating him via KO in round 6. With this win, Maryland native solidified his spot as the ultimate king in the next-gen of boxing.
Also, with that win, Davis improved his decorated boxing record to 24 wins. Moreover, a whopping 23 of his wins have arrived via T/KO and this itself is proof of his slick knockout skills.
The 26-year-old will look forward to continuing the momentum in his 12-round war against Mario Barrios. Because this fight is full of rewards and a promising future for Davis.
