His title defense from 1987 to 1989 remains one of the most successful stints in Heavyweight boxing’s history. Finally, his fortune switched when he lost to Buster Douglas in 1990. For the next decade and a half, the world saw Mike Tyson traversing professional and personal predicaments. As he bid a final goodbye to boxing in 2005, Mike gradually overcame the demons that haunted him for so long with love, support, and faith. In place of the boxer, whose cold stare used to send shivers down the spine of every foe, a much more friendly and compassionate boxing elder, making a mark on entrepreneurial space, emerged. No wonder fans saw a lighter side of ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ following his retirement.

Starting on 15th June 2019, Tyson’s eponymous podcast Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson has carved out a niche space for itself. Subscribed by over half a million viewers, the show is now on its fourth season. Stand-up comedian and actor Katt Williams was the guest on Hotboxin’s latest episode.

As the show progressed, Mike suddenly laughed and said, “The popcorn were here, but I thought it was right here!!” Williams added that it was ‘both of those things.’ As Tyson couldn’t control his laughter, his co-host DJ Whoo Kid commented that it was ‘kicking-in.’
