After seven years of a successful run with ‘Money’, Davis has called it a day and decided to move forward with his advisor Al Haymon in boxing.

After Gervonta Davis ended his journey with ‘Money‘, the latter took to social media and attached an emotional note to him. Mayweather, who took pride in taking a kid from the same background as him and helping him a multi-millionaire through boxing, wished “more power” to Davis. “If [Gervonta Davis} feels he’s grown wings, so he can fly and be his own boss, more power to him,” Mayweather concluded by saying.

While some acknowledged the depth of Mayweather’s message and his contribution to establishing Davis, others predicted Davis’ career without ‘Money’.
