According to James Spada, Marilyn Monroe’s biographer, what happened to the film star “is one of the great mysteries of the 20th century.” Many have linked Monroe’s untimely death with her alleged affairs with President John F. Kennedy and his brothers. Although it has been sixty years since Monroe died, the mystery and the discussions live on.

In the recent episode of Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson, Bill Maher joined the show. Maher, in front of his host Tyson, talked about the life of Marilyn Monroe and her alleged affairs with JFK.

“She had a tough childhood; she was in foster homes and stuff, and then she goes to Holywood and they all mistreat her and use her. The Kennedys. She was fu##ing  the president and then passed on to the brothers.” 

At this Tyson protested and asked Maher how he knew all that. Here is what Maher told Tyson next.

“Dirty dogs do dirty things”: Bill Maher Startles Mike Tyson with his take on Marilyn Monroe and the Kennedys

Indeed, Marilyn Monroe had a tough childhood. She lived in several foster homes, and to add to her misery, got first married at 16. Seeing her fragility, Bill Maher believes when she later went to Holywood, many, including the Kennedys took advantage of Monroe.

“We’re pretty darn sure that she was f** by both Jack and Bobby Kennedy,” said Maher. At this Tyson interrupted and asked Maher if this made the Kennedys bad or if the blame lied with Monroe. However, when Maher readily replied that it obviously made the Kennedys bad. To this Mike Tyson replied with the following:

“I don’t think they’re bad either. Well, me and my brother, both hit this girl, and she’s just not mad. A girl that wants to hit both of us. Why are we bad?”

“The Kennedys did pass her around, and it is on them. I don’t think that’s a very small thing to do. She was a fragile person and they kind of took advantage of her. Dirty dogs do dirty things, and when you have that kind of power, nothing is impossible.”
