Valdez has moved to his gym again in order to polish up his boxing prowess. Top Rank shared a training compilation video of the champ, where fans can see him shadow boxing, hitting the bags, as well doing some cardio.
Valdez‘s last fight was his maiden world title fight. Many expected the veteran, Berchelt, to outclass the young gun with his prolific experience. But when the actual fight happened, it was all about the Mexican boxer hammering his adversary.
The Sonora native didn’t let Berchelt win a single second of the fight. He executed all of his strategies efficiently by taking an aggressive role in this thunderous clash. As a result, his skill sets proved too much to handle for Miguel Berchelt, who fell prey to Valdez’s spine-chilling power.
This fight became the biggest career win for the Mexican boxer. Also, it helped him roll out a ferocious statement in the 130-pound division.

Valdez holds prolific weapons in his artillery and with the help of the same, he bagged a gratifying win last time. But going for a title unification fight seems too early for him. Prior to that, he should look to defend his WBC strap multiple times and fill himself up with confidence.
Later, once he’s developed a considerable hang of the ring at this weight class, Valdez should look to go for the unification fights.
