On the silver screen, Sylvester Stallone gave boxing fans a series of scenes to cherish and remember with his franchise, ‘Rocky’. His portrayal of Rocky Balboa won him hearts. The indomitable spirit of the underdog fighting out of the city of Philadelphia. Rocky Balboa took the test, baptism under fire, as they would call it in the movies. Irrespective of the opponent or the difficulties, ‘The Italian Stallion’ stood his ground.

Balboa never shied away from his fights. He fought head-to-head with the will to win. With his impressive and inspiring performances in the ring, Rocky Balboa conquered the likes of Drago, Lang, and Creed. No matter how tough were his opponents or where he was fighting, Balboa beat the count and overwhelmed his spectators outside the ring.

A variety of fearsome fighters tried to tame Balboa in the ring. Needless to say, they all tried in vain. Contesting the attempts once made by antiheroes and antagonists, pop star Demi Lovato once squared off with the raging ‘Rocky’. In a surprising outcome, Lovato not only dodged Rocky, she knocked him down in the gym.

Demi Lovato was training with Stallone, trying to perfect her boxing skills. In the middle of their training, Stallone gave a demonstration on how they would shoot such fight sequences for the films. Following Lovato’s interest, Stallone showed her the accurate way to get hit. In addition, he showed her how to sell shots.

Sylvester Stallone ‘slipped’

Stallone moved around Demi and showed how Rocky would land a punch. Moving side by side, Rocky showed her the way to avoid and turn. At a point, Rocky threw a left hook which Lovato dodged and countered with a straight hand to Rocky’s chin. Although the punch did not land, Balboa hit the ground, pretending he was hurt.

Soon the actor got up and, to everyone’s amusement said he slipped on the ground. This made everyone present laugh, including Demi Lovato.
