Following this victory over ‘Rolly’, Davis now flexes a professional record of 27 wins with no losses to spare. However, chaos fell over Brooklyn, as fans heard gunshots after the fight.

Davis stayed well composed from the very beginning and intelligently fought his reach and height disadvantage against Romero. As a result, he knocked ‘Rolly’ effectively down midway in the match, and the referee stopped the contest, seeing Romero wobble miserably from the hit. So far, pretty much everything inside the arena was fine. But, the situation went out of hand when fans heard gunshots while exiting the stadium after the main event.

A journalist by the name of Ryan Songalia, who attended the event, recorded the incident on his camera. He too feared a shooting and tried to hide amidst the crowd. Fortunately, as Songalia later tweeted, his fears were proved unfounded as nobody was injured.
