On April 19th, former unified light-welterweight boxing world champion Amir Khan was robbed at gunpoint at Leyton in East London. Khan, along with his wife, Fayal Makhdoom, had just finished dinner at a restaurant and were walking towards their car to return home. Suddenly, two individuals approached the Olympian and confronted him with a gun aimed at his face.

At Khan’s helplessness and disbelief, the robbers then asked him to hand over his expensive Franck Muller watch. Understanding the uncompromising situation, Khan cooperated and unprotestingly gave away his belonging. At this, the perpetrators left, and luckily, Khan and his wife were both unharmed.
