A hoard of African-American celebrities are trying to know more about themselves, by looking back at their roots and descent. This is what the famous rapper, Ludacris, did when he accepted Gabonese nationality during his trip to his ethnic land, Ghana. Similarly, Mike Tyson also took a DNA test to know more about his ethnicity, and he revealed to the phenomenal singer, Akon, on his podcast, that his DNA showed traits of the Congolese. Since then, Tyson has been quite vocal about his ethnic lands of Africa, and recently he also talked about the African culture with the famous Television personality, Stephen A. Smith in the recent Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson episode.

Amid that conversation, Mike Tyson revealed the dire truths to Smith about the tigers, and how they usually kill their owners, when they grow old. Now Tyson knows about these things as he owned three tigers himself, at one point in his life. And then he revealed to Smith that his visit to Africa also generated a strange interest in keeping Hyenas as a pet too. Smith was taken aback by this revelation.

During his talk with Stephen A. Smith, Tyson talked about how when he was in Africa, he saw a man riding on the back of a hyena. Although the hyena had a muzzle on his jaw, they still seemed to have a good relationship with each other. This made Tyson believe that they could be domesticated at some level of their nature.

Well, Smith shook his head and sighed. He conceded that due to this reason, he never went to Africa. He said, “You’re telling me they all live, that must be the reason I didn’t make it back then. That’s why I ain’t never been there, I don’t have time for all of that.” Then Tyson interrupted and said that’s where the beauty lies, in that continent.

This made Smith get loud in vexation, and was bamboozled by the word ‘beauty’. He frantically said that there are beasts who may chomp your head and eat you from inside out, where is the beauty in that? Tyson then, presented Smith with his explanation, as he said, “Yeah listen, we go and what do we do? Massacre the whole countries man, we kill people too, we massacre people too. We massacre people that we could reason with.

This calmed Smith as he agreed with Tyson on this. But notably, this isn’t the first time when Tyson has backed up Africa on a public platform.

Anyways, on his hat, the letters ‘MAGA’ were written, which are popularly known to be the acronym for ‘Make America Great Again’. But this wasn’t the case with Tyson’s hat, as it wasn’t worn in support of the former US President, Donald Trump. Instead, it was in support of Africa, as his version of ‘MAGA’ stood for ‘Make Africa Great Again’. Well, this spurred a lot of conversations on the internet during that time.
